Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Energy Transition Tool Methodology

methodology

Each indicator receives a score between 0 and 10, where 10 reflects compatibility with the energy transition for this indicator. One example is indicator 8, the ease of small-scale renewable energy permits, where 0 means "not possible", 5 means "slow permit application and procedure (> 8 weeks)",, and 10 means "streamlined permit application and procedure (<8 weeks)".

The score of the challenges is the average of all indicators that fall within the area. The calculations omit indicators where data is unavailable. nm,

The tool is currently available for four countries: Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia and Vietnam. Indicator assessment data is collected, screened, and peer-reviewed by local consultants and energy expert organisations in each country. Data is prioritised from latest-available country sources and supplemented with regional or international data where relevant. Some sources provide standardised data for all countries, for example World Bank data on fuel exports (% of merchandise exports) serves as an input for indicator 39, fossil fuel export dependence, across all countries.
